The summer is coming to a close and back-to-school is upon us, which means that the 2018 holidays are right around the corner.
This means that your data will be more important than at any other time this year. Keeping an eye on how your online store is performing will be critical to your bottom line this year, and at Divvit, we understand how important that is.
So we’ve been hard at work implementing some key changes this summer to make data visualization and customization to make your data even easier to understand. We’ve also rolled out attribution modeling to offer you more choice when determining your ROI.
The Analytics Explorer Gets a Facelift (Plus a UX Upgrade):
Introducing the shiny new interface of the Analytics Explorer!
While the new interface is gorgeous, it’s far from purely cosmetic.
Reordering Dimensions & Metrics
We’ve added a handy drag-and-drop feature to the Dimensions and Metrics of the Analytics Explorer so you can customize the way you view your data even easier than before.
With a full drop-down menu displaying all of the Metrics at once, you can easily choose the exact metrics you want to display.
Re-order the Metrics and Dimensions at any time by simply dragging and sliding the metrics in front of or behind others.
So in the example above, I wanted to see how my channels were performing by device. So I can choose to look at all devices for each channel or I can move device to the front to order my channels by device.
But what if you have just too many channels and it’s hard for you to focus on the channels that you’d like to examine?
Before, you could filter by one type of channel or channel group. Now, you can select as many channels as you want and filter out the channels you don’t want to look at right now.
Now, if you only want to look at your paid channels, you can. To filter, simply click on the funnel next to the Dimension you’d like to filter and choose only the channel groups or channels you want.
This makes it even easier to organize your data within the Analytics Explorer.
Compare Several Attribution Models at Once for Easy Performance Analysis
Why stop there? We’ve also added a more clear view of attribution modeling using Linear, Last Click, and Divvit’s Data Driven attribution models.
You can choose and customize attribution models for several KPIs now:
- Order Count
- Marketing ROI
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
- New Customer Count
Now, you’ll be able to choose exactly which attribution model you want to use for each of those KPIs in a single click.
You’ll even be able to compare attribution models across several KPIs at once:
Now, you’ll be able to see the true value and cost behind each of your channels.
We’ve also recently added new cost connections, so you’ll be able to add a variety of marketing costs to track (including from offline sources)! Never underestimate your marketing budget again!
